Garage Conversion – Full Internal Transformation

This project involved the full conversion of an existing garage into a warm, practical living space, seamlessly integrated into the main house.

We began by preparing and adapting the existing structure, ensuring it met current Building Regulations and was suitable for year-round use. The works included upgrading thermal performance using lentil insulation to the walls and ceilings, improving energy efficiency and comfort. New internal studwork was installed, followed by full plasterboarding and plastering to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish throughout.

Electrical and lighting works were carefully planned and installed to suit the new layout, creating a bright and comfortable environment. Flooring preparation was carried out to ensure a level and durable base, ready for final finishes. Internal access was formed and finished to blend naturally with the rest of the home. Throughout the project, we worked closely with the client to ensure the space met their needs, paying close attention to detail, cleanliness, and minimising disruption. The result was a well-insulated, functional room that feels like a natural extension of the home.

Outcome:
A previously unused garage was transformed into a comfortable, energy-efficient living space, adding both usable floor area and value to the property.
