Conservatory Replacement & Structural Works
This project involved the careful removal of an existing conservatory and its replacement with a solid-roof structure designed to improve comfort, durability, and year-round usability. The existing conservatory roof, glazing, guttering, and associated elements were dismantled in a controlled manner, with protection measures in place to safeguard the main property throughout the works. Structural steel beams and columns were installed strictly in accordance with the appointed structural engineer’s drawings, ensuring full compliance and long-term structural integrity. A new pitched roof was then constructed using a timber framework, followed by insulation and weatherproofing to meet modern performance standards. Internal works included the installation of plasterboard to ceilings and structural areas, along with new electrical wiring and lighting provisions.
The project was delivered with ongoing attention to site safety, cleanliness, and disruption management while the property remained occupied. Dust control, floor protection, and internal screening were maintained throughout. Upon completion, all waste and surplus materials were removed, leaving a clean, secure, and structurally sound space ready for final finishes.
